• 32 teams competing for gold at the Prince Mohammed Tournament

    Held in Asharqia Chamber yesterday evening, Sunday, July 15, 2012 ceremony of the draw for Prince Mohammed bin Fahd tournament for companies, which starts on the third of Ramadan in the green hall to identify groups of participating teams and schedule games between football teams of which there were 32 teams divided into 8 groups, each consisting of four teams with the participation of international star Hamad Aldbekhi and a number of officials of the teams and corporate sponsors and media members in the region in the headquarters of the Chamber in Dammam.
    The draw held in the presence of Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah AlWabel, who thanked the patron of the tournament His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, prince of the eastern region, for his support for all initiatives of the Chamber and successes, and His Royal Highness Prince Nawaf Bin Faisal General President of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare, for his continuous interest and support  to this sports tournament, agreeing to set it up in the Green hall also thanked the Director of the Youth Welfare Office Khalid AlAqeel for exploiting all the possibilities for the success of competitors and events.

    AlWabel said that the organizing committee began regulatory preparations for the tournament for several months and this year the tournament came to confirm what has succeeded over the past year, to continue in the allocation of (car) as grand prize being contested by the audience as well as many valuable prizes such as international flights, training programs, electronic appliances and other valuable prizes.
    AlWabel noted the reaction of the companies that expressed willingness to participate in the the tournament this year, which reflects the broad interest in it, and in order to participate in major events.
    He said  that the presence of huge public witnessed in previous tournaments, and the popularity of the broad audience to watch the games, and enjoy the various events out of  sports competition, is in fact the embodiment of the interaction of people in the region with the activities of the Chamber and its programs, especially the youth who make up most of the social segment of the people in this country. As we look forward to a typical and ideal  organization for the tournament in its fifth year, it is necessary to note the interest of the companies in the region in sport in general and football in particular, and thank them for their keenness to participate in the tournament, and note that a part of the revenue the tournament will be directed for a number of charitable organizations in the region, namely:  Sehat Social Services, Al-Ber Charity institution in Al-Khafji, The National Committee of Prisoners’ and the their families, and Al-Ber Charity institution in Al-Olayah village
    The first group included  teams: Taef  for Training , Amiantit Group of Companies of Saudi Arabia , Osais International Holding Company and Saudi Readymix
    The second group included: Ports company, Abdullah Abdulmohsen Alkhodary's sons company, Saudi Aramco and Alhogait group.
    The therd Group: Asharqia Chamber,  Mohammed  Abdullah AlFaraj commercial, civil contracting company and Zamil Offshore Services.
    In the fourth: Gulf Entertainment,the National Fleet  Company Limited , Zamil Industrial and Shomol investments.
    The fifth group included : Rashid Abdul Rahman Al-Rashed & Sons Company, Al Abdulkarim Holding Company, AlRasheed petroleum Investment company and the sons of Mohammed Msheeal Al-Qarni  for Trading and Contracting.
    In the sixth: Algarian Group,professional solutions, AlKefah Holdings and Abdurrahman AlOtaishan group
    Seventh Group Included: Company Athlnks cup,  Aldawaa Medical Services Limited Company,off Side football store and Tamkeen real estate.
    In the eighth:Dar AlYaum, Saeed Ghadran & Sons company and Al Khadir company and Abdullah Shuweir sons' company for Trading and Contracting.
